Return and Refund Policy
Aluseal Building Products Inc. accepts eligible product returns within 14 calendar days:
- For in-store and pickup purchases, the 14-day period begins on the purchase date.
- For delivered orders, the 14-day period begins on the delivery date.
Products must be received by Aluseal Building Products Inc. within the applicable 14-day period.
Return Conditions
For returns of non-defective products, the product must:
- Be unused, uninstalled, unaltered and undamaged.
- Be in its original condition.
- Include all components and accessories originally supplied.
- Be accompanied by the original sales receipt.
For purchases made through aluseal.ca, the order confirmation serves as the original receipt.
All returned products are subject to inspection. Aluseal Building Products Inc. reserves the right to refuse a return that does not meet these conditions, subject to applicable law.
Non-Returnable Products
Except where required by applicable law, the following products cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Products clearly marked or identified as “Special Order” before purchase.
- Products clearly marked or identified as “Final Sale” before purchase.
- Products damaged after pickup or completed delivery because of improper handling, installation, alteration, misuse, storage or transportation arranged by the customer.
The restriction on customer-damaged products does not apply to products that were defective, damaged before or during delivery, incorrectly supplied or otherwise protected by applicable law.
Delivery Charges
Original delivery charges are non-refundable when returning a non-defective product.
Delivery charges may be refunded when required by applicable law, including situations involving defective, incorrectly supplied or misrepresented products.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued for the eligible product amount and applicable taxes, excluding non-refundable delivery charges.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit card purchases will be refunded to the same credit card.
- Debit card purchases will be refunded to the same debit card.
- Cash purchases will be refunded in cash.
Refunds will be processed after the returned product has been received, inspected and approved.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
This 14-day return policy applies to returns of non-defective products and does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection laws.
If a product is defective, damaged upon delivery, incorrectly supplied or does not match its description, please contact Aluseal Building Products Inc. as soon as possible so that the matter can be reviewed and resolved.
